Depression can drain your energy leaving you feeling empty and sad.
However, there are small steps you can take to help you feel more in control and improve your overall sense of well-being.
1.) DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY -
Depression can put you into darkness. all the time negative vibes come to you.
Try to push back and do something you love - something that's relaxing but energizing. It could be playing an Instrument, Painting, Cycling, or Biking.
2.) SPEND TIME WITH LOVED ONES -
Depression can force you to isolate yourself and take away from your friends and family but face-to-face time can help wash away those bad memories which were in your past.
Try to remind yourself these people care about you. don't think that you are alone and no one can understand you rather you need interaction with your family members, especially those who are close to you.
3.) HANG OUT WITH YOUR OLD FRIENDS -
This is the best way to overcome depression. Hang out with your old friends I also get benefits from this.
Try to meet them if not possible then at least call them and interact with them. Talk about the beautiful old memories which you spent with each other
Go with them for a short trip or walk with them in the streets. Go for dinner with them.
4.) GET UP EARLY IN THE MORNING -
Morning prayer is most important for inner peace. if you are Muslim then try to offer 5 times daily prayer regularly. Exercise and Physical activity can be powerful depression fighters.
Research suggests that for some people exercise can be as effective as medication at relieving depression symptoms.
start with 5 minutes walk and work your way up from there.
5.) SPEND TIME WITH NATURE-
Mother Nature can have a powerful influence on depression. Research Sourcesuggests people who spend time in nature have improved mental health.
Exposure to sunlight may offer some of the same benefits. It can increase your serotonin levels, which can provide a temporary mood boost
Consider taking a walk at lunch among the trees or spending some time in your local park. Or plan a weekend hike. These activities can help you reconnect with nature and soak in some rays at the same time.
